The Tide is Turning

This painting is inspired by the wild, incoming tide at the edge of Northam Burrows. In order to reflect the concerns over rising sea levels I've used a sombre palette of greys and blues to highlight the power and beauty of the ocean, with the rocks representing the last line of defence.
